ADI VP Presents at 2012 SoCalBio Workshop
ADI is proud to announce that Jessica Kenyon, Vice President for Health & Life Science Programs, is a speaker at this year’s Southern California Biomedical Council (SoCalBio)Workshop on Accessing Government Funding. With attendees from all over the Greater Los Angeles region, Jessica is sharing her insight on funding opportunities with sources such as NASA, Energy, Commerce, etc.
At the SoCalBio Workshop, one can expect to gain knowledge in a plethora of areas. To name a few, there will be a briefing on Fundamentals—such as targeting the right agencies and understanding the difference between proposal and contracts; Understanding Proposals— identifying a problem and solution; and Tips on Technical Writing— putting proposals in formats required by agencies.
By the conclusion of this workshop, grant-writing skills will be sharpened and attendees will have greater success with government funding opportunities from the NIH, NSF and DoD.
